Data Scientist – Dallas, US

Overview

As a Data Scientist your role is to follow the data. Analyze, visualize, and model Financial Regulatory data. You will build and implement machine learning models and Natural Language processing models to make timely decisions.  We are looking for a mixture between an Artificial Intelligence expert and business analyst someone who has passion for building and improving automation informed by data. The ideal candidate understands human behavior and knows what to look for in the data.

A successful candidate will be a person who enjoys diving deep into data, doing analysis, discovering root causes, and designing long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with domain experts, perform data studies and analysis with workforce management data to identify meaningful automation opportunities.
  • Apply machine learning and AI algorithms to analyse the data and generate models that can be applied to the workforce management domain.
  • Rapidly prototype data science and AI solutions for integration with workforce management products and services.
  • Implement Data Science methodologies to scale over large datasets.

Senior Regulatory Analyst, APAC – Hong Kong

Overview

The Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist shall be responsible for supporting the Zurik’s APAC Division efforts in maintaining the regulatory and compliance database and communicate regulatory updates and concepts to the global team.   As a senior analyst, you will play a critical role within the broader Regulatory intelligence & Operations team. You will lead and assist in the execution of Financial regulatory tracking and analysis specialising in the APAC region.

We welcome applicants with Master’s degree preferably with background in law, Finance, economics or similar areas with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead role in tracking Financial regulations in APAC region.
  • Precisely and systematically interpret assigned rules, regulations and legislation.
  • Conduct and compile documentation of each document released by the regulators.
  • Review opinions of industry bodies and regulators for evaluating impact for various financial firms.
  • As regulatory changes occur, determine impact on various company practices and operations, including the system changes.

Regulatory Research Analyst – Dallas, US

Overview

At Zurik, Regulatory Research Analyst positions are unique and require a different skill set, not typical research analyst role. As a Zurik Regulatory Research Analyst, you become a Financial Regulations and policy expert. You analyze and interpret Regulatory data, and other policy that comes in many different forms: proposed and final rules, reports, publications, etc. This role presents an excellent opportunity to learn the basis of Financial regulations. The knowledgebase opens career paths in many different areas of the company including Zurik management and other leadership roles.

We welcome applicants with excellent Bachelor’s-level educational credentials who have some background in law, Finance, economics or similar areas with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare regulatory summary for new and ongoing rules and regulations and have strong research mind-set.
  • Track, analyse, review and prepare regulatory contents for assigned US rules and regulations.
  • Be able to analyse changes based on the frequent updates from regulators through Official Journal, Consultation paper, Q & A, Guidelines, Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS), Proposed Rules, Final Rules etc.
  • Work with global team in publishing and updating US rules.
  • Conduct regular follow up on US rules and regulations for updates and Q&As.
